Recently, Li Jiheng, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Deputy Director of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the NPC, led a research delegation to Devo Group. The visit focused on on-site investigations into scientific and technological breakthroughs in the agricultural machinery sector, intelligent manufacturing, and the research, development, and application of high-end smart agricultural equipment. Relevant leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district people’s congresses accompanied the delegation, while Han Hongyu, Chairman of the Group, along with departmental executives, provided full‑time accompaniment, reception, and detailed briefings.
The research delegation visited, in succession, a standardized production workshop and a core‑technology R&D laboratory, gaining an in‑depth understanding of the end‑to‑end processes spanning complete‑machine machining, precision component manufacturing, and intelligent control system development. At the seed‑metering device laboratory, they observed a hands‑on demonstration of the self‑developed metering device in operation, carefully inquiring about seeding accuracy, field adaptability, and progress in domesticating key components. They also engaged in thorough discussions with the company’s technical leaders, exploring the challenges of technological R&D and the bottlenecks hindering industry development.
In the product showcase area, Chairman Han Hongyu provided a comprehensive briefing to the research delegation, systematically highlighting the company’s flagship electric‑drive smart seeder. He outlined the product’s core technological advantages, its cutting‑edge智能化 innovations, the overall operational benefits, and the achievements of its nationwide market deployment.
